Bandon Opinion was established in 1977 and was launched on the Late Late Show, one of Ireland's most popular television programmes.
From humble beginnings, it developed and grew to become the biggest selling magazine in West Cork.
Glossy and colourful, the publication today boasts a readership upwards of 25,000,
the circulation area encompassing Bandon, Clonakilty, Ballinhassig, Kinsale and Dunmanway
as well as all the surrounding villages...Kilbrittain, Timoleague, Innishannon, Rosscarbery, Ballineen/Enniskeane etc.
In 2008, to reflect our ever-increasing readership, it was decided that Bandon Opinion should be re-branded The Opinion.
Being based in Bandon, the town obviously continues to receive favourable treatment in the publication and we also strive to highlight all the salient happenings throughout West Cork, on a monthly basis.
